All the techniques and skills I coach can be tackled at different levels of physical challenge, without changing the quality of learning. Often the days will be more mentally tiring than physically.

Each of the courses will need different equipment and I will send an email with a kit list once you’ve completed the booking form. If you have any questions before booking please get in touch.

For a personal rock climbing day you’ll need your own harness, helmet (depending on venue), belay device and rock shoes. Please let me know well in advance if you need to hire any of these.

If we’re going outdoors, we’ll aim to be out for the whole day. So whatever course you’re coming on bring everything you need to stay warm, dry, fed and watered! Emergency ice cream money is highly recommended.

Yes. I am qualified, insured and have the right to work throughout the UK and Europe.

Each year I take some time in Spain and around the UK to pursue my own climbing goals. I take bookings at the same day rate if I can make the dates match. If you have a burning desire for a trip somewhere that doesn’t coincide with what I already have organised, please do get in touch and we can discuss a new trip and how we can make it work.

1. 50% payment guarantees a booking. Full payment is required four weeks before course start date.

2. If I have to cancel a booking I will refund you 100%

3. If you cancel a booking less than four weeks in advance, no refund will be given.

4. You must have an insurance policy which includes cancellation if participating on a course outside the UK. I recommend insurance for bookings within the UK. Standard holiday insurance does not cover for adventurous activities. Both of the following providers offer flexible packages at competitive rates for a wide variety of activities:

I have public liability and professional indemnity insurance to the required levels.

4. Outdoor coaching and activities are weather dependent. I may need to adjust the activities for safety reasons, but will always offer an alternative.

5. Gift Vouchers are valid for one year from issue, and refundable for 28 days from purchase.
